Double-hard Finnish Bastard, Aatami (Jorma Tommila) returns for another killing spree. This time, with the War over and no further Nazis requiring murder, Aatami decides to dismantle his family home (where his wife and children were murdered during his long absence) in Soviet-occupied Karella and drive it on a truck across the border to free Finland.

Naturally, things do not go to plan and he is pursued by KGB killer Yeagor Draganov (Stephen Lang) who, it turns out, was the man who killed his family and now wants to wipe him out in revenge for his massacre of Red Army troops in the Winter War.

If you have seen the first film, you can probably guess the rest. Helander directs the ensuing carnage with style but despite some spectacular-verging-on-ludicrous stunts involving tanks, planes and motorbikes, things don't seem quite as fresh this time around.

Tommila and Lang make great enemies and there is enough physical comedy in among the shooting, stabbing and gouging to sustain interest until the explosive finale.
